Family Planning / Implanon Insertion and Removal

Implanon is a small flexible rod, which is inserted under the skin of the upper arm. It slowly releases progestogen (a hormone similar to the hormone progesterone, which is naturally produced by the female body) into the blood stream to prevent pregnancy for up to three years. Insertion and Removal of Implanon considered as minor procedure, it takes longer time than usual appointment time. Please mention to our reception staff if your booking is regarding Implanon.

Men’s Health Assessment

Men's health refers to a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, as experienced by men, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. These often relate to structures such as male genitalia or to conditions caused by hormones specific to, or most notable in, males. Some conditions that affect both men and women, such as cancer, and injury, also manifest differently in men. Men's health issues also include medical situations in which men face problems not directly related to their biology, such as gender-differentiated access to medical treatment and other socioeconomic factors.  Some diseases that affect both genders are statistically more common in men

The Podiatrists have a particular interest in the assessment of walking and running gait utilising various techniques. Podiatrists are increasingly involved with sporting teams and clubs. Podiatrists play an important role in maintaining the mobility of many elderly and disabled people. Dietitians are professionals with the qualifications and skills to provide expert nutrition and dietary advice. They translate the latest scientific information into practical advice about what to eat. Dietitians have university qualifications gained from courses accredited by the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). They keep up to date with new training and education, and meet the Association’s guidelines for evidence-based practice.
A dietitian can help you to make healthier food choices to stay healthy, recover from an illness and prevent health problems.

Onsite Osteopath

Osteopaths are sometimes known as the ‘mechanics’ of the body because they work in a very physical -- and almost mechanical way -- by using their hands to identify and treat different types of dysfunction in the body.
Osteopaths in Australia complete 5 years of university training. They are registered as primary healthcare practitioners and are trained to recognise various conditions in all areas of the body and not just musculo-skeletal injuries. In Australia, Osteopathic training covers anatomy, physiology, pathology and general medical diagnosis along with Osteopathic techniques.
Osteopathy can be a highly effective preventative therapy and help for Headaches, backaches, neck pains,Joint pain, hip problems ,scoliosis, Poor posture, Restricted mobility, Sciatica and Sports injuries.
